New beginnings.

I wanted to officially start my blog and introduce myself.
Hello! My name is Lauren or Lavern if you fancy. I've always been a crafter ever since i can remember. i was always into something. My family always supported the artsy side of me. I was always more consumed with creating things then actually playing with toys. i would make my own instead. i've tried a lot of different crafts like: polymer clay

 I became very advanced at polymer clay for the time. There wasn't much information out there. now there's tons of information on polymer clay. i don't know why i stopped. It became an expensive hobby.

I've always beaded and enjoy paper crafts

This is a photo from the first show i did thanks to help of my wonderful step mom, Annette. She has really pushed me to sell my wears. My whole family has been really supportive of me and my crafts. I even made my display!

Over the years i've tried so many different kinds of crafts. recently sewing has held my attention and is affordable for me. i started taking lessons for sewing with my step mom and another friend. Things got busy and started venturing out on my own with my aunts sewing. i love sewing. It's so much fun and there's always something new to learn. This is what i've been sewing lately. I started with little make-up bags and then with zippered wristlet bags. Now i'm cranking out Christmas stockings! My home decor is mostly skulls and strange oddities. i wanted stocking to match. when i couldn't find any, i decided to make some. i tend to start mass reproducing when i find things i love to make...

i can wait to start sewing more! I think i'm going to start making cute pot holders and oven mitts! i hope to start updating my blog more and more. don't for get to check out my facebook page: Love Always Lavern
